Looking for a creative new learning experience? Workshops in juggling, magic, and balloon twisting are an exciting way to learn new skills, and offer a unique way to build on existing skills, including problem solving, creative thinking, and physical coordination.
Each hands-on workshop is custom fit to your event to ensure that all participants receive individual attention, and that the material presented is age appropriate. Workshops are tailored for length, difficulty, and style of presentation depending on the type of event, and the size, age spread, and current skill level of your group.
Juggling is exercise for both the body and the mind. Along with developing eye-hand coordination and enhancing spatial awareness and balance, juggling builds creativity, determination, and self-confidence.
In this workshop juggling is broken down into a series of achievable goals which will take students from learning how to properly throw one beanbag, to juggling three.
Already know how to juggle? Advanced workshops are available.
Going far beyond simply exposing the secrets, each magic workshop takes an in depth look at a single illusion straight from Scott’s repertoire.
After learning how to construct the necessary props, and mastering the mechanics of performing the illusion, participants use acting and creative thinking skills to begin to develop their own unique presentation.
The trick chosen for your particular workshop will depend upon the age and previous experience of your group.
This workshop focuses on learning basic twists with balloons and then applying those same twists to create several different animals, hats, decorations...
Students are given inflated balloons, step by step instructions, and one-on-one assistance in constructing a basic balloon animal.
After mastering the skills necessary to create the basic animal, students will learn how to use those twists to construct more complex creations with instruction, or on their own in small groups.
